Is it possible to re-install Osmand+ and keep the Maps on the phone?
(The app seems to be corrupted: Each attempt to navigate leads me “air line” to some place I visited months ago, miles away from my home and my very positon. From that point on, navigation follows regular streets to target. I expect that resetting or re-installing the app will restore usable navigation)

Quick question: Does your gps report the correct location? For instance, in Google Maps, or any other mapping app.

Android oder iOS? Welche OsmAnd Version? Welcher OsmAnd Speicherordner ist eingestellt (kannst du auf diesen direkt per PC oder Dateimanger zugreifen um die Karten zu sichern)?

Bei mir bietet OsmAnd unter Einstellungen → In Datei exportieren die Möglichkeit wahlweise verschiedene Daten (u.a. Karten, Profile, Favoriten, Einstellungen, Suchverlauf, Navigationsverlauf, Kartenmarkierungen, Tracks, …) zu exportieren. Allerdings würde ich das bei mehreren GB an Kartenmaterial erst dann ausprobieren, wenn sich keine andere Möglichkeit finden sollte.

Yes, current position is shown correctly in OsmAnd+. It’s from there where it “beams” me to that mysterious fixpoint, which is neither flagged nor part of my favorites.

OsmAnd+ 5.3.10 auf Android. Das Exportieren werde ich mal ausprobieren, hab genug Speicher frei auf dem Phone. Vielen Dank!

Depending on where you have the maps stored you might be able to copy them to your computer via USB and copy them back after the re-install.
