OSM -> Garmin IMG, with Hebrew names\fonts

Hi,

I’ve read in this forum, and in other place which I can’t remember,
that people create Garmin IMG from OSM using the English names, because Hebrew names appears as Gibberish.

Is it a problem with Garmin devices which lack support, or something else, like the tools used for conversion (e.g. cGPSmapper).

Only a handful of Garmin devices support Hebrew.
All of them support English.
