Hi, I´m working on JOSM 1526 and since a few days I have problems with the data upload: There is no error-message but the data is not on the osm-server afterwards. During the upload there is a new message to give a comment about the changes made and afterwards it seems to send data to the server. Another odd thing is, that recently I always get an error-message on JOSM start up (memory and strange things may happen…) although I extended the memory to 512MB… maybe there´s a relation between these things?

Its recommended that you use at least JOSM version 1529, as earlier versions don’t work properly with the new API (according to this page: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/OSM_Protocol_Version_0.6/Information ).
I think you might as well get the latest more or less stable version (1566) as there’s been a few other improvements since then.
