We’d like to inform you that OptimoRoute will be conducting an organised editing activity starting in the second half of May 2026, focused on improving the accuracy of truck (HGV) access information across various regions in Mexico. Our work will be limited to adding missing constraint tags on existing ways, such as hgv, maxheight, maxweight:hgv, and similar tags.

In cases where truck restrictions are clearly defined in official legislative, regulatory, or administrative texts, those texts may be used as sources for mapping the restrictions, since such official texts are not subject to copyright protection in Mexico. However, in most cases we expect the mapping to rely on street level imagery such as Bing Streetside and Mapillary.
