Dat klopt volgens mij niet of is in elk geval niet wat de Wiki vermeldt:
“Indicate which direction the steps go up or down by using the tag incline=up — when the direction of the way points upwards — or the tag incline=down, respectively. By convention, the direction of the way should preferably point uphill, but the key incline=* should always be added to the way.”
Het geniet dus de voorkeur om te zorgen dat de richting van de weg overeenkomt met de richting van de helling zodat incline=up kan worden toegevoegd in plaats van een omgekeerde richting met incline=down. Toepassing van incline=up geniet dus de voorkeur maar dat maakt het geen default.
