It may not be realistic to develop end-user products, but there’s a question whether you get the comprehensiveness if there’s no good end-user products that rely on the information?
And if this is the goal, does the openstreetmap.org page convey that adequately? As a new visitor how would I discover all the great apps that rely on OSM? My first impression is honestly that it’s an ugly map
