When I try to add a new address/location nothing happens.
Facebook doesn’t use addresses and point of interests from OpenStreetMap, but naturally lots of other applications do, so it still makes sense to keep the information up to date.

I’m trying to add location but it’s not working
If you have access to a desktop web browser the editor integrated in openstreetmap.org is really the best starting point, not the least because it has a good tutorial.
