Nominatim: Interruption of indexing - what are the risks?

when installing nominatim, indexing rank 30 has been taking more than a week

the instructions say that you can abort the installation and restart it with the --index-noanalyse flag Troubleshooting - Nominatim Manual
what are the risks of such an implementation - the data will not be complete?

I know nothing about nominatim, but do know that you’re going to need to provide a bit more detail about what your actually doing before people will be able to help - I’d start with what hardware are you using, what version of nominatim and what data are you working with?

Restarting won’t make it faster. Are you using all CPU cores (--threads parameter)? On older hardware or with non-SSD disks even two weeks total import time are not unusual (Basic Installation - Nominatim Manual)

Without knowing which Nominatim version, which hardware, what data you’re importing we can only guess.
