I tend to use Vespucci, for mapping when out and about, and that allows overlays to be added too. The tiles from here** can be added fairly easily in Vespucci:
- Hamburger menu
+
(to add)- Add custom imagery
- Pick a name
https://map.atownsend.org.uk/hot/{z}/{x}/{y}.png
- OSM based map
- Coverage 45 to 65 lat, -20 to 5 lon
- Zoom 0 to 24
- Tile size 256
That shows all PRoWs that OSM already knows about, and also things like long distance paths.
To see PRoWs from ROWmaps data, which might not be in OSM:
- Hamburger menu
+
(to add)- Add custom imagery
- Pick a name
https://osm.cycle.travel/rights_of_way/{z}/{x}/{y}.png
- Overlay
- Map
- Coverage 45 to 65 lat, -20 to 5 lon
- Zoom 0 to 18
- Tile size 256
Those tiles are from @Richard .
Anything that allows you to add a tile layer should also work.
** shameless plug - that’s my site
