New Maproulette challenge: Switzerland - Nodes Without Primary Tags

[EN] Hello Swiss OSM community,

I’d like to announce a new MapRoulette challenge: Switzerland - Nodes Without Primary Tags. The aim of this challenge is to improve data completeness by adding appropriate primary tags to OSM nodes that currently have a name=* tag but lack top-level tags defining the features (such as amenity=, shop=, place=*, etc.)

Your comments, feedback, and suggestions are very welcome.

For those interested: they are all north-east of Bern.

Stuff like node/12192187309 could be filtered out directly.

I find it quite interesting that the challenge only lists tasks in North-East Switzerland.
Did you not find any more of those or are you “only” searching in that region?

(And - on a side note - thanks for also posting translations, but I honestly think that’s not needed. The discourse translation is working really good for English, and I think we’re generally happy in the Swiss subform if posts are only in one of the Swiss languages and English.)

Thanks for the question. We actually found leads in the rest of the countries but will start with this region. The challenge will be refilled with those additional leads after this first area will be completed.

Thanks for the heads-up about the translation. I am a native French-spearker, so I’d opt for French-English for my future posts :slight_smile:

Is there a way to do an overpass query with the hardcoded list?

this type of issue would be something for osmose to be permantly surveyed, I guess

That’s helpful.

A quick check found a partial duplicate, a node that could be completed, and a few that might be completed, but could just as well be outdated and irrelevant since.

It’s similar to what I found in the game, just easier to navigate.
