This challenge aims to identify potential road network connectivity and geometry issues, such as disconnected roads, duplicated highways, improper junction connections, roundabout connectivity problems, and other mapping inconsistencies that may affect routing, navigation, and overall map quality.
The tasks were generated by analysing the OSM road network for potential anomalies. Each task includes information about the type of issue detected to support the review process. As always, every case shall be assessed individually taking into consideration local mapping practices and OSM guidelines before making any edits. Not every task will necessarily require a fix.
Community feedback is very welcome. If you notice recurring false positives, edge cases, or opportunities to improve the detection methodology, please let me know. Likewise, if there are any Switzerland-specific mapping conventions or local guidelines that should be highlighted in the challenge instructions, I’d be happy to incorporate them.

I mapped that bridge. It’s a bridge only use by the farmer across the field. I changed the road type to track, is that enough? Because it’s really a proper piece of infrastructure as if there was a road, but there is not clear road.
I’d say it’s correctly mapped though because you don’t enter the roundabout for a right turn there. There is some discussion in this thread where I added another example: Connecting ways to roadabouts
We reviewed these examples internally, and our current view is that if these isolated segments are only used to access farmland and are not intended to connect to the wider road network, then as you suggested, reclassifying them as track may be the most appropriate approach.
