Hi everyone,
I’d like to share a new MapRoulette challenge focused on identifying and resolving cases where buildings and highways intersect: Austria Building and Highway Intersections - 316 tasks
These tasks were generated through a spatial comparison of OSM building footprints and highways. Not every building-road overlap is an error so the situations would be updated only when needed. Roads may legitimately pass under or through buildings but in such cases, the appropriate tags such as tunnel=building_passage, covered=yes, building=roof, or appropriate layer=* should be present depending on the situation.
As always, feedback on the challenge methodology, instructions, or individual tasks is very welcome. Your local knowledge is greatly appreciated so please let me know if there is anything that we could clarify or improve.
