I would believe Russian secret service has better sources than OSM has to offer for “remote mappers”. But of course adding such kind of information by local surveying might not be the best idea. I’m totally with you. But that would be then rather an Ukrainian internal mapping rule and not requiring any limitations to “remote mappers”. But that’s just my thoughts on that, I might be wrong.

None the less, this discussion is not about objects on the Ukrainian side. So your concerns should not apply to the discussed railway.

I get your point, though the same would apply for the other side of the war zone. The drainage on the Russian side would save life’s of civilians as well.
