The standard may depend on country, in Poland we write only the proper name of a station, without ‘train station’. Although I can’t say that in the other countries and languages it is likewise.

For the Bob’s case, I’d match the formal business name if known from their web site for example into the ‘name’ tag. But if locals refer to it only as Bob’s, I’d also place that in alt_name. I arrived at this while using Nominatim to find local objects the way a local person would search for them.
