The map on https://www.openstreetmap.org/ display cities and countries names in their native language.
Can we force them in english please?
I see that https://www.openstreetmap.fr/ or https://www.openstreetmap.de/ allow the french and german translations. Why can’t it be done in english please ?

You mean .org is for English speaking people only? I always thought of OpenStreetmap to be an international projeckt and openstreetmap.org to be the Global/International version of the Map.

The Americana map is a possibility to get the names in English,or other languages. But off course only when that language version is available in the OSM data.
This is a FAQ and even a superficial search would have provided you with plenty of answers.
There are multiple layers on osm.org that use a different strategy to display names and there is OpenStreetMap Americana that allows you to select a display language.
