I run “Hair Salon Brazilian Hairstylist” at 48 Porchester Road, London, W2 6ET. I updated my address and contact details on OpenStreetMap about a week ago. However, the changes are still not visible publicly. This is creating confusion, especially because my Instagram relies on OpenStreetMap for location tagging. Previously, updates went live quickly, and now the old information is causing tagging issues. Could someone assist in getting my updated details live? It’s important for my business. Thank you!

Apart from that we have no influence on the POI data that Meta uses for Instagram listings.
You have changed the adres info at your old location but that does nog magically moves it across the map. The correct way would be to remove your business information from there and add it here

However, the issue is that my current address—48 Porchester Road, London, W2 6ET—is correctly updated, but the search is still mixing it with my old location details from St John Street. I’ve already ensured the map data is correct at 48 Porchester Road. Could you advise if there’s a delay in the search index updating fully or if there’s another step I should take? The problem is: You have changed your adress on the old location but it is still at the old location, so it is no surprise that things get messed up as this adress is not where it is now shown on the map.
What you need to do is to move your information from the old location to the new location as Kees_59 wrote above.
Only then you will have a chance that it shows up where it really is.
And please do change the adress of your old location back to its real adress once you have moved out (read deleted) with your business-information from there.
Thank you all so much for your help! I wasn’t quite understanding at first, but I’ve now moved the business to the correct location, updated the details, and deleted the old entry. The new point is showing up fine, but I assume the old one may take a bit to disappear. Could someone let me know how long it usually takes for the deleted data to stop appearing on the map?

Reverted the deletion and restored the old address, as the building with it’s address still exists. Merged your new location to the existing node.

Thank you all very much for your help, patience, and explanations. I really appreciate everyone who took the time to guide me through the correct process. I understand the system much better now, and I can finally see the business showing at the correct location: 48 Porchester Rd, London W2 6ET.
