I’ve just updated my Garmin nuvi 2599 with UK maps from here . I rebooted the device and took it out for a test – to see if the new roundabout nearby was now on the maps, which it was – but, when I tried to search my home address, I noticed the ‘search by postcode’ option is no longer there, and when I attempted to search by typing in my town’s name it says ‘town not found’. I’ve tried various towns, villages and cities and some are there, others not.
Any suggestions?
