Mass editing in ID

Is it possible to do mass editing in ID, for example to change several roads from paved to unpaved?

See How can I edit multiple features in iD at the same time? for a similar question. Back then it wasn’t possible to do this with iD, and from a quick check it doesn’t look as if this feature has been added since.

iD doesn’t currently support this. You can do it in JOSM (if you have Java) or Potlatch 2 (if you have Flash Player; control-click to select multiple items, then use the tag panel on the left).
