I added a trail to OpenStreetMap, but 20 hours later, the edit isn’t showing up. Changeset is 182321041.

Also, regarding your edit: Maybe highway=path is a better choice for your trail.

I’m using Microsoft Windows and did the editing in Firefox. I just tried clearing the browser cache (Ctrl)+(F5), but the trail I added yesterday still didn’t show. I also tried opening OpenStreetMap using Microsoft Edge, but again the trail I added doesn’t show.
If I go into “Edit”, the trail I added does show (screenshot below), and I think I have it as a “Foot Path”.
The data is there but the raster tiles you see may not be updated. Try switching to a vector tile like Shortbread. I can see it on the default raster tiles.
Yes, the new trail shows on the Shortbread and Humanitarian layers but not the other layers. Does the trail not show on other layers because those layers have not yet been updated? If so, how long does the updating usually take?
Actually, the trail does show on some other layers also, but only at very zoomed in levels. At more zoomed out levels, the changes don’t show. Is it just a matter of time for updating to take place?

Yes. Your path is in the data and will show up in all the different places that use OpenStreetMap data once these do update. This can any value from (minutes, hours, days, weeks, never).
