map editing/power line voltages

The voltages on the voltage list do not match U.S. standards.
I want to label the voltages on the line.

The preset voltages undoubtedly reflect European usage. Suggestions for changes can be made on the trac.openstreetmap.org site, component “Potlatch2”. If you do this include a list of the most frequent voltages.

The offline editor JOSM also can has configurable pre-sets which are stored in XML format locally. You may find it easier to create your own “power-mapping” presets for JOSM, as you could use those immediately: see http://www.christeck.de/wp/2010/01/17/external-presets-in-josm/
