Thank you for the incredibly detailed update posts, and all the improvements being made! Unfortunately, there has also been a regression on certain browser versions:
I don’t know exactly after which release it happened, and I’m not code-savvy enough to figure out what could have caused it from reading the updates above, but starting from a couple of months ago, the map doesn’t load at all on Safari/Webkit on Ios 15 (latest supported version for many devices, including mine, which still get regular security updates as of May 2026). It just displays a blank, dark grey panel (in dark mode) underneath the top interface.
Other websites which ought to be considered “more advanced”, such as the vector maps of openinframap.org and openbusmap.org work completely fine, so I don’t think there should be any reason that osm.org couldn’t work as well. Just throwing this out there, as it would be a shame to exclude people from accessing the website if we don’t have to.
