I cannot dismiss the message, and it is really getting on my nerves. If these are different kinds of messages (dismissible vs. non-dismissible) I’d ask you to please only use non-dismissible messages for very important announcements that need to be sticky (e.g. downtimes). If there is only one kind of global notice, but it can be configured to be dismissible, please do so.
That is a system message, that is not dismissable. On the other hand global notices are dismissable and we have one with quick links to important information about the forum.
@Firefishy can comment on when that system message won’t be needed anymore.
