For airport lounges, could you give some examples of how access should be tagged for specific airline and/or class of travel, airline loyalty frequent flyert staus, and Alliance status (e.g. Star Alliance Gold) ?
I would do access=customers
and customers=Star Alliance Gold
At least from what I’ve seen, whenever access is tied to a specific airline, the lounge is strongly associated with the airline’s brand. In that case, brand=*
and brand:wikidata=*
(and likely name=*
) can communicate this requirement to the end user reasonably effectively. For example, this Delta Sky Club has it in the name, and its link to Delta Sky Club (Q84914142) on Wikidata enables data consumers to present a Delta logo just as with any chain restaurant or supermarket.
I remember a question I had. There can be “resting spaces” / “lounges” with no services and amenities in attractions and tourists spots, especially large =museum
and =place_of_worship
. They are akin to a mix of no-service mall lounge, passenger waiting space, and =shelter
but it’s often wholly indoors or attached not a standalone structure.
Anyway for something on topic, some airports call their free sleeping space “lounges”. It’s another mix of resting space, and waiting space.
