Location written wrong on Instagram and I can't find on openstreetmap to fix

Hi there! I’m trying to fix this location:

it’s displaying as:
`Atlit, Hefa, Israel

and needs to be instead:
Atlit, Israel
(without the ` and ‘Hefe’ which is another city that’s also misspelt, should be Haifa. this is the location on Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/17a723gR1QbNu8dc7)

for some reason, it appears to be ok on openstreetmap

am i looking at the wrong place? IG linked me to openstreetmap

Hi, this is a problem with Instagrams rendering.

You will need to contact them.

tx but this is for my own location…I’m looking to correct a town/city’s location name

Previously, Facebook have suggested “osm@fb.com” as a way to contact Meta / Facebook / Instagram about OSM problems (see e.g. here). It sounds like this isn’t actually an OSM problem though, just Facebook’s “places” data being wrong. A quick web search suggests https://help.instagram.com and https://www.facebook.com/help/instagram/381579045265733/. How quickly Instagram will respond to your request we at OSM have no control over.
