Keepright! en "This way is not connected to the rest of the map"

In Zwevezele (West Vlaanderen) zijn een groot aantal(>100) zones getagd met “area:yes; highway:footway”.
Op “https://www.keepright.at” wordt dit aangemerkt als ’ floating island’: This way is not connected to the rest of the map’.
Is hiervoor een beter tag te vinden die geen fouten geeft (zelf geen gevonden)…?
Eventueel aanpassen is voor iemand met engelengeduld gezien het aantal, en is het sop de kool waard?

Hi,
for footway areas there are following tagging options:

  • hw=footway/pedestrian + area=yes (a)
  • area:highway=footway (b)

For (a) these ways have to be connected to the highway network, if not you see the errors in the QM tools.

(b) is ignored for routing and is only used for display. They are used together with linear mapped ways.

The problem is not realy the tagging, but the energy to connect all this unconnected ways…
