Just wanted to share that I’ve started uploading my first Panoramax images in the region Winterthur.
I’m still working on the setup and will share later more information about the documentation and the scripts used. As you may see from the images, I’m still using a broom stick instead of a monopod 
As a quick idea the setup is a bike with a 360 camera recording in timelapse mode and GPS watch recording the track.
After getting the video file and the GPX track, I run a few command line tools to do the frame extraction, stiching, masking, geotagging and removal of duplicates. After a quick manual check I perform the update using the command line tool for Panoramax upload.
I’ve designed the tool that the processing works directly with the raw video file without having to use the proprietary software to do the stiching. The stiching line is slightly visible, but it saves time and ensures that the images are in the best quality available.
Additionally the images are discarded whenever I pause the recording on the GPS watch. This gives an easy way to ensure directly on the terrain that images from sensitive areas (events, pool, …) won’t be uploaded.
