Judgement help

Dear mappers,

I would like to ask you for judgement help.
I am fixing geometry in some rural part of Australia (-22.8937692, 140.4211177) because I’m fixing Approximate highway (primary discart from 35.1954304362m) Osmose task.
While I was fixing this, I have found one strange situation.
Few GPS tracks goes thru Track instead of Primary. There is no full GPS tracks that goes thru Primary road.
I want to cofirm with you, which of these two roads should be Primary and which one is Track.

Thank you in advance,

Both the track https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/355423365/history and the highway https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/593724840/history were added via a survey, so for that reason alone I don’t think it should be armchair mapped without any local knowledge or survey. The track was noted as being a temporary detour, so I think it’s fair to keep it as is.

I couldn’t see any OSM GPS tracks going though either road. Are you using a private collection of GPS tracks?

PS. Better to ask via a changeset comment which added the feature/made the change, it’s public but also targets the person who likely knows the area well.

Hi! Thank you for reply!

No I haven’t used private collection. I have used public GPS tracks, imported thru JOSM.

Thank you for advice!
