For anyone who’s been frustrated that the JOSM Strava Heatmap browser extension has been mostly out of commission for the past year, I’ve released version 6 to revive it. Sorry I didn’t get to it sooner. The new version is live at Firefox Add-Ons and the Chrome Web Store. Thanks to jleedev, NathanHowell, and pepve for their contributions in this release. Happy trail mapping!

@ezekielf Broken again. Fix plugin after it broke post-Strava MapLibre GL JS move. by c0nsumer · Pull Request #24 · zekefarwell/josm-strava-heatmap · GitHub
I am lacking the knowledge to make the extension work again. If you would publish a v7 of the extension you would really help me out!

Yes unfortunately Strava made some changes that broke the extension just a about a month after I released the previous fix . I’ve released version 7 which should hopefully be more resilient against this sort of breakage (Firefox, Chrome).
