I think you can just uncheck the box and restart JOSM?

As a side note, depending upon why you didn’t like a plugin, you may want to file a ticket using Help → Report bug (mostly so we know whether or not the issue might have been fixed). This is especially the case if you didn’t like the plugin due to a bug.
