Java security warning on JOSM

Running MacOS 10.7.5 and using josm.jnlp to start JOSM so I always get the latest version (currently pulling in v6238).

Since my last update of Java I am getting a warning dialog box from Java on start up that says, in part:

Location: http://josm.openstreetmap.de

Running applications by UNKNOWN publishers will be blocked in a future release because it is potentially unsafe and a security risk.

I assume I can bypass all that by downloading JOSM directly and then simply running it on my computer. But I like the auto update mechanism built into josh.jnlp so I’d like to make sure it will work in the future (whenever Oracle publishes its next Java security update).

I’ve always just access JOSM related files via OSM and haven’t paid much attention to the development of JOSM. What is the best way to contact the developers?
