Issue with Edit ID - black background

I have two Win10 PC’s that I could use to make edits/updates to the map data. Both are running Firefox 145.0.2, one is 32-bit, which is my backup PC, while my primary PC is 64-bit.
I’m sure I’ve used both of them in the past with no issues.
However, a couple of months ago I went to use my primary PC and as soon as I clicked EDIT I just got a black background when I expected the default satellite image. Changing backgrounds didn’t help, as I still didn’t get anything usable.

Switching to the backup PC and everything works fine, same account, same everything else.
I’ve included screenshots from both devices and you can see one isn’t useful at all.
I’d assumed it was a blip, especially as I couldn’t find any similar reports here but it hasn’t fixed itself and I don’t really want to keep firing-up the backup PC just to do edits>
Has anyone else seen this? Is there a fix?

If you disable all extensions does it change anything? What happens if you use an incognito window?

Can you open up the browser console and see if there are any errors when you load the page?

The problem was already reported and discussed here: No background imagery in Firefox · Issue #10963 · openstreetmap/iD · GitHub

Thanks, it’s good to know it’s not just me.

I don’t have a Github account, so can’t add to that thread.

If you do, then feel free to quote my post as another example.

Both instances of Firefox share the same Windows and FF account, and have the same settings and add-ons, other than being 32 or 64 bit versions
