Depending on what Licence they are distributing the data under, you would need to ask them for a waiver Use of CC BY 4.0 licensed data in OpenStreetMap | OpenStreetMap Blog
“Wherever the material is being published or issued to others, the source must be prominently acknowledged”
You would also need to ask them if being listed on our Contributor’s page Contributors - OpenStreetMap Wiki is sufficient to meet this requirement
