Is mapping informal homeless encampments within scope for OSM?

Hello

There have been a few isolated uses of social facility=homeless_camp. See example here. Since this is usually a short term usage, it doesn’t seem appropriate to be putting this information into the map.

I don’t think the social_facility key is good. It implies some form of an actually official “facility”.

In general, if a thing is there for several months, and you can expect it to be there for a while, then it might make sense to put in OSM

From looking at the website it at least looked to me like a facility officially operated by some NGO?
