Hi! I was recently browsing the dataset https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/fr/dataset/points-geodesiques, and was wondering whether it would be a worthwhile addition to import it into OSM. Per the dataset’s documentation, it appears, howevever, that data points can be off by up to 2 metres. Is this data of appropriate quality for OSM? If so, as I can’t see any imports from Géodésie Québec to date, could we ask for a CC BY 4.0 waiver? Thank you!
La licence de donnees CC-BY 4.0 n’est pas compatible avec OSM et pas de succes à date vs demandes licences spécifiques. Et cette information a-t-elle déja été ajoutée ailleurs ?

There have been successful talks with the MTQ and the Tourism ministry for waivers, as of now the MNRF hasn’t given us a waiver

Le processus pour intégrer MRNF et MAMH est en cours présentement. Soyez patients! Évitez d’envoyer d’autres demandes. C’est déjà demandé auprès de la direction. Il faut qu’un ou une sous-ministre signe et c’est long, mais ça ne bloque pas politiquement.
