Hello Washington OSM, I am proposing to import the addresses in the King County parcel dataset, sourced from King County.

Abstract
I’m using a script to generate the changeset. There’s more details on the wiki - short version is it takes a very very conservative approach to updating houses with addresses and adding addresses (skipping if it’s not a clean “add address to one building” or “add address node to otherwise empty parcel”). Tags are boring mappings - addr:housenumber, addr:street, addr:city, addr:postcode, addr:state=WA.
Disclosure
I’m new to OSM, and I used GPT 5.5 to script out this import. I know it’s important to be very careful for large imports (see the following images), which is why I tried to make this a very conservative and verifiable import. On the other hand, being such a large import means it’ll improve services like Nominatim for a large number of users.
