Import already geotagged images into JOSM

Hi

I see that JOSM can geotag pictures using their timestamp and a GPS track. However my iphone already adds the GPS coordinates to the images. Is it possible to get them into JOSM without having a GPS track? Its for pictures of street signs and such that I use as a reference.

Welcome to the OSM community and the forum.

Yes,

you can open JPG files like other files. JOSM will place icons (default) at the tagged locations. Clicking on an icon shows the picture in a separate window. There you can zoom, shift and go forward or backward from one picture to the other. Don’t hesitate to ask questions in the forum.
