.img file downloaded to \Garmin folder. Why doesn't it appear in memory card tree in Basecamp?

Hi,

New here so hope I’m in the right forum.

I’ve got the Spain .img file downloaded onto the micro SD card which is in my Garmin GPSMap62S. When I attach the GPS to Basecamp under Memory Card (F:) the User Data Folder is empty.

Any help much appreciated.

(not a user of Basecamp but) does the map appear on the Garmin device OK?

Your question has just resolved the issue. Yes, under ‘Map Setup’ on the device I can enable it but as I’m in the UK it doesn’t appear on the display. However, when I now go into Basecamp I can plot routes and save them.
