What you’re seeing there is the “data view” with “map notes” enabled. In most places, you need to zoom way in to get any use out of the data view because of how much information it shows. You can disable the data view on the website by selecting the “layer” menu (typically the fourth button from the top on the right-hand side) and scrolling down until you see an option for “Map Data”. Uncheck that, and close the layer menu.
