I cant export SVG through the share tab

Hi Support Team,

I am currently working on a project using OSM and I am running into an issue exporting a map view.

When I attempt to export the current view as an SVG (Vector), the process fails and I receive the following error message:

“Map export failed: unsupported tile format, try .png”

Could you please let me know if the SVG server is currently down, or if there is a specific setting I need to change to enable vector exports?

What are you exporting from? Some of the map display options are raster images, some are vector.

I am exporting straight from openstreetmap and it not letting me export svg file.

This is the error I am receiving: “Map export failed: unsupported tile format, try .png”

Only the standard layer support export as SVG.
The cycle map and the transport map don’t support export as SVG.

Please have a look at SVG - OpenStreetMap Wiki for the possibilities to create an SVG file from OpenStreetMap.

Thank you so much I did not realize it only had to be in “standard” to only export into SVG file!
