How to tag "Social Sofa"

In the Netherlands and Belgium there are a lot of Social Sofa’s. There is no standard tagging other than name=”Social Sofa” and lots of variations. Is there a tag to indicate it being a part of this project? I came across “initiative:”, but it doesn’t seem to be used a lot.

Any suggestions? Otherwise I will do initiative:wikidata

There was recently some discussion about “chat benches”, e.g. Tagging chat benches - last chance ;-) - is that similar?

This is very similar to the chat bench initiative described in the link by @Jarek. In the parallel post for chat benches (german forum) we reached some consensus to tag these benches with

amenity=bench
chat_bench=yes
initiative=chat_bench
initiative:wikidata=Q131697973

There are not many of them so far, but I would suggest to use the same approach for the “social sofas”. See also the wiki page for amenity=bench:

Indeed I envisioned eg initiative=chat_bench + initiative:name=Social Sofa to solve these problems of different naming of similar concepts. Initially thought this are soft sofas, but actually the same hard benches.

I feel like the chat aspect isn’t the main purpose in practice. And they are more artsy than other chat_benches, but I still like the initiative tag. So I will probably do initiative:wikidata and initiative:name as a start and maybe if more of them are tagged this can be expanded.
Thanks everyone

Sure, a Social Sofa is not a chat bench, although the idea behind both is to bring people together. My suggestion is not to use the “chat_bench” tag for Social Sofas but just to use the same scheme:

amenity=bench
social_sofa=yes
initiative=social_sofa
initiative:wikidata=Q17820229

and also add a note on the wiki page for amenity=bench.
