I recently updated a drinking water spot I saw next to the road.

I am now wondering, what are the best fields and tags for these springs, which I used to refill my water bottles.
Is it amenity=watering_place?
Can I do amenity=drinking_water + watering_place=yes?
There are lots of them in Austria, but the fields and tags vary a lot.
A watering_place makes me think of a trough, but found no OSM wiki to tell one or the other.

Yesterday did one though cut out of stone, 5m long which also had a permanent flowing tap for easy and hygienic filling of bottles
This one though short is still to me too watering place where the dog can drink from too or the roaming boars and deer . The secondary tag drink_water=yes or any other value that shows up in taginfo
I read the entry about watering places and also a proposal about that topic, but I am still not 100% sure if this is the correct thing.
Hallo, der Name “Quelle” ist so nicht richtig. Namen werden nur bei Eigennamen vergeben. Das es eine Quelle ist ergibt sich ja bereits aus natural=spring.
amenity=drinking_water + watering_place=yes wird in dieser Form nicht ausgewertet.
Möglich wäre die Schreibweise (getrennt mit Strichpunkt) amenity=drinking_water;watering_place
In deinem Fall ist allerdings das drinking_water=yes in Verbindung mit amenity=watering_place völlig ausreichend.
Die Info das Flaschen gefüllt werden können wird im Regelfall ganz einfach mit bottle=yes beschrieben.

Benannt habe ich das Objekt gar nicht, ich wollte es nur aktualisieren. Aber ich hab den Namen schon gelöscht.
Deine anderen Vorschläge habe ich auch eingearbeitet.
