How to tag garden sharing or urban horticulture sharing? From a quick look at Wikipedia, I think it is not a community garden, instead it is a private contract between a landowner and a predetermined tenant, for a predetermined number of days.
The context is that an Italian online marketplace, where landowners can post their offer, has offered to import their dataset and has proposed tourism=camp_site + garden_sharing=yes, but I was wondering whether there is an established tagging worldwide.
Reading both the wiki and the email, are there two different concepts here? The email sounds more like a kind of tourist facility for camping which seems different from allowing the use of a garden for growing things.
Looking at the actual offerings on their website, it is quite clear that there are many places (if not all), that are far from the evocations of “community” and “sharing”, rather many charge quite high camping fees and are likely to be considered regular (assuming they pay taxes and have their paperwork in order) or irregular (if not), commercial camp sites.
So definitely not “garden_sharing=yes” for all of them.
Today, in the world of coincidence, a mapper going by the handle of Garden Sharing plastered Italy with POI v.v. the subject. Problem is, the url the mapper affixed to the POI all have tracking suffixes, only discovering after cleaning the one close to me that there’s many all over.
Duely followed up in the linked edit set and asked to join. Looking at the mappers HDYC page, hit and miss, 14 CS last 0n 15th, there’s about 260 POI added, All of them in Abruzzo for the provinces in my daily viwew are flagged with this tracking issue in the urls. /o\
