How does one submit a correction to OpenStreetMap about roads? I sometimes find that roads are missing in OpenStreetMap that are in fact there and listed on various USA State sites and are in fact there.
You can update the roads yourself after creating an OSM account (if you don’t have one already) - or add a note (right click → Add note) if you want a more experienced mapper to take care of it (I advise to add one while logged in to get email notifications)
Note that there’s no guarantee someone will read your note (and take care of it.) In that case I would still suggest you to do it yourself, which is relatively easy with the default web editor. Feel free to come back on this forum if you have any further questions.
Just remember that copying info straight from unlicensed sources (e.g. Google Maps) is discouraged
