I Have an image of an track and I now how long the track is (14,37km)
The track is taken in Belgium in the area of Izegem
Now I’m wondering is there an possibility to find the exact place of the track on the map based on the image of the track an by nowing how long the track is?

Short answer: no, except by hard looking on a map.
Questions:
What kind of image? What kind of track?
Can you provide the image? Why an image and not the track itself?
How do you know the length of the track?
Did you ask the provider of the track?
Its an small competion among friends you only get the image off the track the lenght of the track an area approximately where the person has walked
Then you need to guess where the person has walked

Did the person follow a signposted trail, a node network itinerary, a named route or did they just walk around ?
The person just walked around, so no named route etc…
Then it’s too hard for me! No criteria to link the image to any map structure or data I can think of.
That leaves comparing the image with a detailed map, zoomed until the image represents about 15 Km on the map.
