Let’s imagine I want to edit the area along the first GPX file in this list, (this one). I can click on the name TS2090b.GPX
which takes me to this page. This trace has got 1514 points in it, and it’s basically linear. When I click “edit” an unfeasibly large area around the start point is load (lots of data that I don’t want to touch, none of what I actually do), but I can zoom in on the start location.
What I can’t see is any of the information from the GPX file - not the track that’s in there, nor the (in this case) 70 waypoints that have the useful information that I want to add.
Without having to separately download the .gpx file and open that in JOSM, how do I get Josm to open:
- at the start point of a GPX trace
- with the information in the GPX trace (track and waypoints) visible?
