How to edit text on the osm (Standard) view background

Hi guys,

I’m new to this and just managed to update a node of a hairsaloon since the owner has changed.
I’m using the standard browser editor, I assume its called “iD”.
However I can’t find any way to change the old text written in something pinkish on the background (osm standard layer).

So any help greatly appreciated, thx

Do not forget press “Save” button in the editor
Be patient. Just wait a moment (or an hour or a day) for server update tile images and reload (press F5 in a browser)

Hi and welcome to OSM and the forum

Updates to data need some time to be rendered in the default map on OSM.org. Press Shift+F5 to bypass browser cache. In case there is a question to a specific object in the database it is helpfull to post the ID of the node or way (https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/5531949383).

Alright, yes, the Node Code is https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/5531949383 .

So basically I just have to wait.

However just to be clear:
When I start editing the editor gives me this layer:

And this one is updated and totally fine.

But when I log out to browse as an user with no editing rights I’ll get this:

And on this one it still says “Lofty Perueckenstudio in Hamburg” which is just wrong.

However, in order for that to be changed I just have to wait, if I’m not mistaken.
Than I’ll wait

It is also worth noting that different zoom levels update on different schedules. At the moment I see the new name at zoom level 18, but the old name at level 19.

I could be wrong but I think that background is rendered on the first Sunday of each month.

Let me quote myself:

Low and medium zoom tiles (z0-z12) are usually re-rendered only when a new OSM Carto version is being deployed and on the first Sunday of each month.

All higher levels are updated as soon as possible, which usually means minutes, but last month OSMF servers have some problems and it takes longer and some areas still miss some z16 tiles:
