I find it in my osm updates, but I could not find a way to delete it.
Than I tried the TOP-LEFT button to modify it, but even there I could not find a button to delete it completely. I could edit each node and I corrected the wrong nodes, but before this I reuploaded another way I corrected manually in Google Earth first.
Now both ways are online in OSM and I can’t find an option to delete one of them.
Are you sure this is the correct number? Looking at Way History: 151448957 | OpenStreetMap it seems to be in Alaska and doesn’t seem to have been edited in the last 14 years. You may be missing a digit from the way number.
It worked if I selected the whole path and used the keyboard to delete it fully. Initially when I tried the delete key, it deleted the points, one by one with each press.
One more questions regarding the warning I see that the path is crossing a road. Should I cut the Path in multiple segments at each road crossing ?
Is the Cutting option in left side of this screenshot for this, it will cut the path automatically ?
In this case, you should join the path and the road where they cross.
The node should probably be tagged:
highway=crossing
crossing=unmarked
crossing:markings=no
If there are crossing markings or traffic lights, etc., those tags would be different.
If the path goes over or under the road, you can use bridges and tunnels.
You should only split the path into different segments when something about the path changes, e.g. it changes from surface=asphalt to surface=ground or lit=yes to lit=no. On OSM, some ways are several km long, others are even longer.
The cutting option on the menu is for when a way (highway, railway, canal, etc.) cuts through the previous ground level, for example here: Way: Luas Green Line (82004700) | OpenStreetMap where the railway is below the surrounding ground level, which means the railway can easily go under the road bridges and buildings.
