How to connect remote parking to a business?

How does one connect a detached parking lot to a business, so that services that use OSM will set directions correctly?

Here’s the specific situation:

The business at the green arrow uses the parking lot at the blue arrow. The building between them is a different business and street address.

The problem is that route mapping apps go to some trouble to route drivers to the address of the building, which, due to the way the road is a mix of one-way sections and center-left-lane sections, results in being sent the long way around even though the center-left-lane at the black arrow is available. The map accurately reflects the barriers and center-left sections.

How does one connect the parking lot to the business so that drivers can be correctly routed?

from the satelite/streetside picture this is too hard to fix, there seem to be some walls involved.
I added the two fences that are obvious.

If you know where the walkable space is, extending the driveway/walkway to connect to an entrance=main node

There is a wiki page documenting provides_features relations that are supposed to allow parking features to be associated with one or more “target” POIs.

As yet it is supported by approximately zero pieces of software.

Routers trying to route people to the centroid of an object rather that its entrance is a very common problem. As far as I know none of them make any use of the locations of entrance nodes or take hints from addr:street tags when choosing a route either and those are much more common tags.
