How to change mapnik default style

Hi.

I’ve just developped a tile server according to http://switch2osm.org/ guide. It is very hard to modify default style (osm.xml). How can i apply a mapquest or mapbox style? are there any xml file on the web…any sample?

Use TileMill; write your style in CartoCSS (maybe starting from one of the existing styles); export as Mapnik XML (menu in the top right); use that as your .XML file.
