How many Specific Features have I added?

I have added a lot of AED/Defibrillators and focused mapping any I come across. I want to know how many I have added so far of the specific feature type. Is there a way to see that?

Hi,

Try overpass turbo.

30 defibrillators at the time of writing this message.

That only counts last edit, eg this is not created Node History: 6855762061 | OpenStreetMap
There’s no easy method other than created objects untouched at ver 1 (or at least I don’t remember)

I know, I only wanted to know the ones that I have created :slight_smile:

Thanks that is quite useful knowledge to me!

Actually can do a difference on set for ver 2, but that’s it

[out:json][timeout:55];
node({{bbox}})["emergency"="defibrillator"](uid:20037465)(if: version() == 1)->.untouched;
node({{bbox}})["emergency"="defibrillator"](if: version() == 2)(uid_touched:20037465);
( ._; - node._(uid:20037465););
(._; .untouched;);
out count;
//out meta; // To check

Can be verified eg this is correct Node History: 13523623901 | OpenStreetMap
You have to retrieve higher ver’s history, and filter it somehow yourself

[out:csv(::id)][timeout:55];
node({{bbox}})["emergency"="defibrillator"](if: version() >= 3)(uid_touched:20037465);
out;

Technically possible to send requests to Overpass API, but not recommended for adding to server load, and failing from overload

[out:csv(::count)][timeout:15];
timeline(node,12685597264,1);
for (t["created"])
{
  retro(_.val)
  {
    node(id:12685597264)(uid:20037465);
    out count;
  };
};

Outputs 1 if you created it (this one is)

I made a tool osm-tag-csv-history which turns a OSM history file into a CSV file of tag changes. You can include just your own tag changes (with --uid), and only certain tag changes. If you want to get your complete edit history use this.

If you’re only talking about edits in the last while (e.g. “last 6 weeks”), you can check out a new tool I made OSM Edit Smelter. It will summaries the edits that you’ve done, and tell you how many AEDs you’ve made.
It’s still in beta quality, I welcome feedback.
